Gen Re currently offers an excellent opportunity for a Marine & Energy Treaty Underwriter (d/f/m) to work in the P&C Cologne International team based in our Cologne office. This is a hybrid role.

  • Underwriting of global marine and energy treaty business.
  • Support the team in the development of marine and energy reinsurance strategies.
  • Act as point of contact for marine and energy topics for internal and external partners.
  • Tracking geopolitical and global economic challenges, new technologies and market developments.
  • Processing contract documents and handling administrative tasks.

Profil
  • Successfully completed studies in finance, business administration, economics or equivalent.
  • Friendly and collaborative attitude and the eagerness to learn new skills and topics.
  • Enjoyment of working on analytical tasks and communicating with people in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English and German and the readiness to travel.
  • Ideally experience in reinsurance and the marine and energy field.
